When I first got my Honda, I kept the door lock fob on my key chain for about a week. Ever since, it’s been in the hidey-bin next to the steering wheel. Why? Every time I’d walk away from my car and put my keys in my pocket, the doors would unlock. Then lock. And unlock. After fighting with the locks every day in parking lots across the county, I got fed up. The keys would randomly press the buttons on the remote until something happened. Not cool. Now that I got a remote starter for Christmas, I feel really bad. Can’t carry that either. Why won’t any manufacturer make fobs with button covers? How about aftermarket slip covers? Too many designs? After years of looking, I’ve only found one aftermarket manufacturer with a single product . This is sad. Such a annoying problem, such a simple solution, an no one to build it. Hell.
